The Manchester United striker reportedly claimed he was being followed when he overtook an unmarked police car while driving a £560,000 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Blue Shadow on December 12 last year (2023). The 26-year-old was fined £1,666 and he also received a ban from driving for six months.

Rashford, who appeared via video link at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court, was also ordered to pay a £666 victim surcharge and £120 in court costs after previously pleading guilty to a single speeding offence under the Single Justice Procedure. The incident occurred less than three months after he had crashed another Rolls-Royce.

Following Manchester United’s Premier League victory over Burnley at Turf Moor, the players had returned to their Carrington training base on the team bus. After collecting their own cars and heading home, Rashford, driving one of his £700,000 Rolls-Royce vehicles, was involved in a collision with another car. Emergency services attended the scene, but Rashford did not require medical attention, and no arrests were made.

In addition to the Cullinan Blue Shadow in which he was caught speeding, Rashford owns a £390,000 Black Badge Cullinan, a £280,000 McLaren 765 Long Tail, and a £350,000 Lamborghini Urus Performante.
