It has been revealed that Paul Pogba could be poised to make his football comeback to the club of one of football’s biggest names.
Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly encouraged his former Manchester United teammate, Paul Pogba, to join him at Al-Nassr, potentially reuniting in Saudi Arabia and marking his comeback to football in a grand manner.
Pogba, who is currently under a doping suspension that was reduced from four years to 18 months after an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, is expected to return to the field in March 2025.
Pogba’s stint with Manchester United, which spanned two periods from 2011 to 2012 and 2016 to 2022, solidified his reputation as a talented midfielder.
During his second spell, he played a key role in the club’s triumphs in the League Cup and the Europa League in the 2016-17 season, earning a place in the PFA Team of the Year for 2018-19.
Despite his success, Pogba’s future at Juventus appears uncertain after club director Cristiano Giuntoli indicated that the team is not planning on keeping him.
This development may make Ronaldo’s invitation to join Al-Nassr a compelling option, given the rapport they built at Manchester United and Ronaldo’s ongoing success with the Saudi club.
Although Pogba will be eligible to resume training in January 2025 before officially returning to competitive play in March, it remains uncertain whether he will choose Al-Nassr or consider other opportunities. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old recently ventured into acting with a role in the film *4 Zeros*.
