Sporting Lisbon manager, Ruben Amorim has reportedly agreed to join Manchester United as a replacement for Dutchman, Erik Ten Hag whose contract was recently terminated.
Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official YouTube channel on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. According to the Italian, Manchester United and Ruben Amorim reached an agreement his release clause was triggered by the Red Devils.
Who is Ruben Amorim?
The 39-year-old Portuguese international started his playing career with Benfica in 2003 and his coaching career with Olhanense in 2018 before he moved to Sporting Braga where he spent just one season before moving to Lisbon.
