Bukayo Saka has left the camp of the Three Lions for Arsenal as they look to assess the injury he picked up against Greece during the UEFA Nations League.
Bukayo Saka was substituted in the second half of the disappointing defeat against the Greek national team on Thursday, October 11, 2024. This decision means that the midfielder would not be available for selection when England face Finland on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
Saka continues to be assessed by the Gunnersedical team will continue to mlafter arriving back with the club on Saturday morning ahead of their Premier League game against Bournemouth in their first fixture after the international break on October 19, 2024.
Lee Carsley gave an update on Saka’s injury after the game. According to him, the Arsenal’s deputy captain felt something in his leg during the game.
He is been assessed but in the build-up to the first goal you could see he’d felt something in his leg.”
This injury to Saka is a big blow to Arsenal because they are yet to recover from the injury to Martin Odegaard who also picked up an injury during the last international break.
