Reports indicate that Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to make a transfer in the summer of 2024 to a top Premier League side.
As the summer 2024 transfer window reaches a feverish peak Chelsea FC’s former number-one Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly set to make an unexpected move to the top Premier League side Bournemouth on what has been categorized as a loan deal.
The Spaniard has been excluded from Enzo Maresca’s plans, with reports indicating that he has been training separately from the first-team squad.
After spending the previous season on loan at La Liga champions Real Madrid, Kepa has drawn interest from several clubs, including teams in Saudi Arabia. Chelsea were prepared to part ways with the 29-year-old, and according to The Athletic, he has become a top target for Bournemouth, who have shown more interest in him than in Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale.
However, with Kepa’s contract set to expire at the end of this season, he would need to sign an extension before the transfer could be finalized. This development comes amid Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca’s concerns about the club’s bloated squad. The Italian manager previously expressed frustration, noting that managing 43 players would be challenging, with only 28 currently training under him.
