Supercomputer predicts the winner of the 2024/25 Premier League season

Manchester City is aiming to make history in the Premier League by winning the top-flight league for the fifth consecutive time at the end of the 2024/25 season, a feat that no club has achieved before.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is hoping to lead Arsenal to a better season after finishing as runners-up to Manchester City in the previous two seasons. According to the predictions from Grosvenor Sport’s supercomputer, Manchester City is expected to win the 2024/25 Premier league title in May 2025, with Arsenal finishing in second place

The supercomputer simulates each match 1,000 times to predict the outcome accurately, taking into account the teams’ strengths in the Premier league.

Liverpool is predicted to finish in third place, while Manchester United is expected to finish fourth. Chelsea, led by Enzo Maresca, will miss out on a Champions League spot, finishing fifth, and Aston Villa is likely to place sixth.

Tottenham is predicted to miss out on the Champions League for the third consecutive year, finishing in seventh place. West Ham, Newcastle, and Brentford are predicted to be tied for eighth, ninth, and 10th place, each with 57 points.

In the bottom half of the table, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Everton, Fulham, Brighton, Southampton, and Leicester City are expected to occupy the positions from 11th to 17th. The relegation positions are predicted to be taken by Nottingham Forest, Wolves, and Ipswich.
